Over the weekend, Cottage Hospital gave out 2 scholarships to graduating seniors looking to pursue careers in nursing. Hailey Wheeler from Lisbon Regional School, and Kate Vasconcelos from Woodsville each received the $500 Elisabeth M. Berry Scholarship for aspiring nurses.

This Scholarship was created by the Cottage Hospital Board of Trustees in Memory if Dr. Elisabeth Berry for her many years of service to Cottage Hospital. We are committed to providing our community with qualified, highly skilled hospital staff, because we understand it is an important step in assurring the continued good health of the people in our community. 

Prospective applicants must be a resident of the Cottage hospital service area, demonstrate a commitment to the health and wellbeing of our community, be of superior scholastic ability , and be accepted at an accredited program in the nursing field. 

We can't wait to see what you both accomplish!  (We also have a New Grad Residency Program here once you two finish your degrees)
